Renewal for the 2025/2026 registration year is now closed.
Under the Health Professions Act, to practice as a physiotherapist and use the titles physiotherapist or physical therapist or the abbreviation PT, an individual must be registered and have a valid practice permit.
All renewing physiotherapists on the General Register have a practice permit issued to September 30, 2026.
Employers and the public are encouraged to use the College’s Verify a Physiotherapist feature to confirm that the individual providing physiotherapy is a registered physiotherapist.
