The goal of this course is to help physiotherapists in Alberta acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to maintain the privacy and confidentiality of health information and comply with the requirements of the Health Information Act (HIA).
Before You Begin
This course can be completed on a desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile phone. For the best overall experience:
- Use a desktop or laptop.
- Make sure your operating system and internet search engine are up to date.
- Do not use private or incognito mode. Close unnecessary tabs and applications.
- Connect through a stable internet connection. Avoid switching networks, connecting or disconnecting from a VPN, switching apps, or allowing your device to go to sleep.
- If using a shared computer, make sure there is only one instance of the course open at a time.
During the final quiz:
- Do not use your browser’s Back or Refresh buttons.
- Allow each screen and the results page to finish loading before continuing.
