The audited financial statements for the year ended September 30, 2022 were approved. The financial statements will be included in the 2022 Annual Report.
Julie Stenner has been reappointed to the Registration Committee for a three-year term.
Post-Graduate Clinical Examination Policy Guide
Council has approved the Post-Graduate Clinical Examination Policy Guide for future administrations of the Post-Graduate Clinical Examination. This guide will be posted on the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta’s website in May prior to CPTA opening registration for future examinations.
Governance Policy Manual
Council approved the Governance Policy Manual. This manual will provide further guidance for the operations of Council and behaviour and responsibilities of the Council members. Council adopted the Governance Policy manual to promote:
- Good governance processes
- Efficiency by having all governance policies in one manual
- Clarity of roles; and
- Effective orientation of new council members
Policies will be reviewed on a rotating schedule by the Governance Committee.
