Required Behaviour (Mandatory) Practice standards – minimum practice requirements
/expectations and the reference for reasonable, competent practice. They apply to all physical therapists at all times. Standards are listed seperately on the right or you can donlaod a PDF with all 12 plus introduction and glossary.

Code of ethics – ethical principles, values and conduct required/expected for acceptable physical therapy practice.
The code is also used to evaluate performance. The code is currently incorporated into Section 13 of the Physical Therapy Profession Act General Regulation. A new, stand alone code is under development in preparation for physical therapy's transition to Alberta Health Professions Act.
