The College maintains a courtesy register for registered physical therapists living and working in one jurisdiction who require episodic entry and licensure Alberta. For example, physical therapists:

• Teaching physical therapy to regulated members or students.
• Travelling with a group (e.g., sports team) and providing services to group members.
• Providing services at sporting events in Alberta.
• Attending a course in which they will perform an authorised activity.

Registration process
Apply to the College for a Registered Practitioner license by completing and submitting an application form. Mail/fax the signed form to the College along a photocopy of your current registration/license to practice physical therapy. For your convenience, the application is provided in fillable form format and can be completed on your computer. Alternatively you can print the application and complete by hand.

Processing time
The College acknowledges receipt of applications via email within three working days and provides applicants with an electronic link where they can check their application status.
